Privacy policy
Last updated: April 15, 2026
We keep this page short and honest. If anything is unclear, email privacy@asknimble.com and a human will answer. We don't sell your data, we don't use it to train models, and we don't share specialist data with buyers or buyer data with specialists beyond what's needed to do the work.
1. Information we collect
We collect what we need to run the service and nothing more: your name, email, billing details, and the information you share with us to complete an order (credentials, files, screenshots, and anything you type into a service brief). If you visit our site, we also collect basic analytics like page views, referrer, and approximate location.
We don't collect social security numbers, government IDs, or health information. If a specific service needs sensitive data, we'll say so on the service page before you buy.
2. How we use it
We use your information to deliver the services you buy, to bill you, to send transactional emails about your orders, and to improve the platform. We'll occasionally send you an optional monthly digest if you opt in — never more often, and always unsubscribable with one click.
We never use your data to train AI models. We never sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers.
3. Who we share with
Only the people and systems that need it: the specialist assigned to your order, our payment processor (for billing), our email sender (for transactional messages), and our hosting provider (where your data lives). Every specialist is under a mutual NDA and only sees the data needed for your specific order.
We never share specialist data with buyers, and we never share buyer data between specialists. Anonymized case studies only go out with your explicit consent.
4. Data retention
We keep order data as long as your account is active plus a reasonable window after, because we may need it for refunds, disputes, and legal compliance. You can request that we delete your data at any time — see "Your rights" below.
Credentials you share for a specific service (like API keys) are deleted or rotated out immediately after the work is delivered, unless you ask us to keep them for a follow-up.
5. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: one to keep you logged in, a few for privacy-friendly analytics, and one to remember your preferences. We don't use marketing or advertising cookies. The full breakdown lives in our cookie policy.
6. Your rights
If you're in the EU or UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have the right to know what we have about you, to correct it, to take it with you in a portable format, and to ask us to delete it. Californians also have the right to opt out of the sale of their data — a right that's easy for us because we never sell it.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@asknimble.com. We'll respond within 30 days, usually a lot faster.
7. Security
We encrypt data in transit with TLS and at rest in our database. Credentials you share for a service are stored in an encrypted vault and accessed only by the specialist assigned to your order. For more detail on our posture, see our security page.
8. International transfers
AskNimble is operated from the United States and our infrastructure is hosted in Europe (Hetzner) and the US. If you're using us from outside these regions, your data will be transferred to and stored in those locations. We use standard contractual clauses and other safeguards required by law to protect it.
9. Children
AskNimble is a business-to-business service and isn't intended for children under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you think a child has given us information, email privacy@asknimble.com and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll email active customers and post the update here with a new "last updated" date. Small typo fixes and reworded clarifications won't trigger a notification.
11. Contact
