Cookie policy

Last updated: April 15, 2026

We keep this page short and honest. We use the minimum number of cookies needed to run the site, and we don't use any marketing or advertising cookies — ever. If anything is unclear, email privacy@asknimble.com.

1. What cookies we use

A cookie is a tiny text file that a website stores on your browser so it can remember things across page loads — like keeping you logged in or remembering your preferred theme. We use a small handful of them, all listed below. We don't use any cookies you don't need for the site to work or for us to understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful.

2. Categories

Strictly necessary

These keep the site running. Session cookies keep you logged into your account, protect against CSRF attacks, and remember your cart during checkout. You can't opt out of these without breaking the experience, but they don't track you across other sites and they're deleted when your session ends.

Analytics

We run privacy-friendly, server-side analytics that help us see which pages are read, which searches succeed, and which parts of checkout trip people up. The data is aggregated — we don't build profiles on individual visitors — and it's stored for a limited time. You can opt out at any time using the preference toggle on this page (coming soon) or via your browser.

Preferences

These remember small choices, like whether you're browsing in light or dark mode, or whether you've already dismissed an announcement banner. Turning these off doesn't break anything — the site will just forget those choices between visits.

Marketing and advertising

We don't use any. No Facebook pixel, no Google Ads tags, no retargeting scripts, no data brokers. If a marketing cookie shows up here, it's because we changed our mind and this page is out of date — email us and we'll fix it.

3. Third-party cookies

A handful of the services embedded on our site (for example, Stripe during checkout) set their own cookies to do their jobs. These third parties have their own privacy policies, which we've reviewed, and they only set cookies that are essential to the service they provide.

We don't embed social media widgets, ad networks, or analytics products that share data across sites. If you use an ad blocker, you won't notice anything different on AskNimble — there's nothing for it to block.

4. How to manage cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser's settings. Every modern browser has a section for privacy and cookies — doing this will stop the site from remembering your session, so you'll be logged out when you revisit.

Browser-specific guides: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all publish step-by-step instructions. If you need help figuring it out, email help@asknimble.com and we'll walk you through it.

5. Contact
